Bulbophyllum ornatissimum

    So I have this Bulbophyllum ornatissimum
    (Identified by Roland Amsler).

    However recent developments have lead to believe that what we have been told is ornatissimum is really just a hybrid of it with rothschildianum to varying degrees.

    They overlap in the wild in a couple of places leading to the possibility of cross breeding and the fact that the true ornatissimum tends to be so rare Im inclined to believe this possibility. In Australia there are many B ornatissium hybrids masquerading as B rothschildianum yet there are no true rothschildianum to be found atleast not from what I can see and I highly doubt there is a true ornatissimum in Australia either.
