Bulbophyllum macranthum

In March I brought this orchid because it was an unusually large plant and the price was not too expensive. When the local rainy season started, I began watering it daily, soaking it in the morning with a mild fertilizing solution. The results was that it started six husky new leads that seem to be on their way to be significantly larger than previous growths. To my delight it also bloomed, this is the first flower to open.
