    Authored by: Jon

Description: Found in Thailand & neighboring countries

    Culture:

    Temps:
    - Summer: 65-88f
    - Winter: 50-80f

    Light: Medium light

    Humidity: 60-80%

    Air circulation: Breeze

    Growing location: Greenhouse

    Growing medium: Mount - Cork

Growing medium notes: On a bare cork mount, I think the plant prefers an open medium so it can dry out between waterings

    Water:
    - Frequency: Daily
    - Fertilizer & frequency: Daily with MSU at 1/4 recommended strength
    - Dry rest: No.

    Blooming season: Summer, Winter, Fall

Flower size: Flowers are 1/2" across, and arise from a multi-flowered, long arching spike.

Plant size: Globose pseudobulbs are up to an inch in diameter, with narrow leaves up to eight inches long. Pseudobulbs are close together along the rhizome.

Other firsthand observations: Once established, the plant grows quickly. The plant photographed below was 3 growths when acquired in 2005.

    Other plants growing well nearby:
    Bulbophyllum cruciatum
    Phalaenopsis wilsonii
    Platystele ovatilabia
    Monosepalum dischorense
    Cadetia taylorii
