    Hi Jon,
If you do have kutubuense, you will enjoy it. Like other stenochilus, it is sweetly fragrant. I thought I would post a photo, as the ones linked to are upside down. My photo shows a little better how they orient themselves.
Of the stenos, it is one of my favorites.
I really haven't been keeping up with the taxonomy of this group. I thought at one point it was a valid name. It was named by Garay, Hamer, and Siegerist from plants found by Bandisch at Lake Kutubu. Does anyone have information that they can point me towards that this name isn't valid? I know I'm behind the times and would love to catch up. ai141.photobucket.com_albums_r71_Manuran_kutubuense21.jpg

That's hot, Chuck. Thanks for the pic. My plant came from you a few years ago.

Lol, I have such a poor memory for things like that. I wish I could remember where I've sent divisions of the plants I've lost. I hope it blooms for you soon, you will enjoy it.
