This is another Bill Thoms hybrid of Bulb. (Jersey 'Dorie's Choice' x phalaenopsis). I actually talked to Bill Thoms about this plant because both him and I were interested in the LACK of influence from Bulb. phalaenopsis in this hybrid. In short, neither of us noticed much of any easily visible traits from Bulb. phalaenopsis at all. Bill even started to consider the fact that maybe this cross was the result of parthenogensis of Bulb. Jersey. However, this plant affirmed the identity of this cross.

Bill believes that the cross is true for two reasons: first, the flowers last over two weeks which is very unlikely for Bulb. Jersey. Secondly, Bulb. Jersey generally creates terminal, sequential flowers while this cross has the ability to open multiple flowers at once on a single spike, as can be seen.

Grown intermediate, bright light, and medium watering.
