I've had this plant for 8 years. It forms a nice clump. A few years ago something went wrong and most of the the plant died back in a matter of days, leaving only about a square inch worth of plant. It has recovered nicely.

Flowers are about 1¾" wide and the lip is about 1¼" long. Since the combined bulb & leaf are ½" - ¾" long, that's pretty huge. They only last a day or two, though they usually come in flushes. This time I'm getting 10 flowers over the course of two weeks. I have no idea what triggers blooming, though it happens several times a year.

Growing it intermediate, drying out slightly between waterings, medium light.

Very nice, mine just finished blooming. Wish the flowers would last longer. Thanks for the post

I'm not much of a bulbo grower, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate excellence. Great photos too.

Very nice growing. Looks a bit like my Bulbophyllum alticola.
