Found in India, Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam? at elevations of 1850 to 2000 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with pseudobulbs carrying two leaves that that are shed in the dry season. Following a short rest, an eight inch inflorescence is produced with a two and half inch pendant rachis; around which are many slender, white, Comosum1.JPG comosum2.JPG hirsute and fragrant, half- inch flowers

Great photos of a great species. I got mine from Popow. For those looking for Bulbophyllum that can handle cool conditions, this one grows well and blooms reliably for me. This year I got 6 inflorescences. It is a deciduous species.

Stunning photography, especially that bottom one. I've never seen Bulb. comosum that close up.

    Amazing photos!
:) I didn't know there are so many fragrant bulbos.
How is the fragrance? Do you like it? Is it strong?
