Bulb protractum

    Need help blooming this plant. In a 6" clay pan, potted in bark, hanging high, lots of light3 mists per week, plant is real healthy. It will not bloom for me, HELP

    I think you may have just IDed one of my plants, btw. I bloomed this one (not saying it's protractum, but it's damned close and in the same section: desmosanthes) on a cork slab with the plant on the north side of the cork, completely shaded by the slab. I've been growing it in intermediate conditions with daily water and decent airflow. These pics were taken last April, but the plant flowered again over the summer.

    Jon Will try mounting on cork as suggested and shade. Will get a division to you and see what you can do with it.
