Brassavola Yaki 'Black's Best'

Here's a picture of my Brassavola Yaki 'Black's Best' which is starting to bloom. This is a hybrid of Brassavola nodosa and cucullata. This plant came from my remake of the cross. It is one of my favorite orchid hybrids. The flowers are 4.5" wide and tall. The flowers are fragrant during the evening. This has the darkest flower of this cross that I've seen. As the flowers age, the purple color fades to cream/white. The flower spikes typically have 2-3 flowers, but can have up to 5 flowers per spike.

I'm using this plant a lot in my breeding.
