Brassavola nodosa '#2' - Possibly my best nodosa

    Here's a picture of my Brassavola nodosa '#2' which is blooming again. Don't let the un-sexy cultivar name fool you. This is possibly the best nodosa in my collection. It booms several times throughout the year. The flowers are relatively flat (as far as nodosa goes) and 5" wide. The most unusual (& nice) characteristic about this cultivar is that the big, purple spots extend out of the lip throat onto the lip surface.

    I originally got this plant from Sentinel Orchids in PA.
