I just love these guys. I also have a white one that should bloom next week.
I like those too. Nice, Jean!
it is one of my favorite orchid names to say too!
nice pic, it so looks like a nose !!
Really nice, Jean. Don't you just love those nice long stems?
That's what I thought too....big nose!
Nice species! Your clone is super, Jean.
This is a great species.
I like these droopy guys alot too! That's a real nice one.
It's fabulous! Mine is about the same size as yours, but it doesn't have any red in the flowers. Mine should bloom soon. And I love the fragrance of these guys at night.
This is #1 on my lust list. Don't know why I haven't purchased it yet.....
Jean's motto: "I make plants happy." So is the redness just because of the clone, or is it in response to temperature or light intensity? I remember reading something once about cool temps or something leading to red in this species.
I am waiting to see my second plant's bloom. It bloomed white last year but this year they have been growing side by side all fall, winter and spring. This flower should open any day now. If red, then I'd say the temps or light have something to do with it.
I look forward to the experimental results!
