An orchid that is easy to cultivate in the hot tropical lowlands of Puerto Rico. The flowers can vary in color from clone to clone. Blmorning.jpg

I've got this one in an unheated greenhouse, and it does fine down to 42F. It's also an interesting one in that the purple veins fade very noticeably in the first few days.

That's interesting, do they fade completely so that it is a white lip or just get much lighter?

Just much lighter. When there's two or more spikes opening a few days apart it's very noticeable.
