Barkeria uniflora

    In bloom today, a small species from Mexico. First bloom seedling, from Hoosier's. It's on a 4 inch piece of bark, flower is 2 inches wide.

    Forrest, everything grows outside, except some of the Angraecoids come into the kitchen for the winter. When the Barkerias & some others go dormant, I put them in the garage for a dry rest. It's a little warmer than outside, but only a few degrees. Makes it easier to not water, when they're in a different locale!
