They are currently out of print, but do come up on ebay.

I have been told that eventually it will be available as a print on demand publication on Amazon, but don't know when that will be nor what the price will be.

Few months ago, the used ones were sold for $150 and up on Amazon, and the new ones were sold for 2X more than the used ones.

I've been told that OrchidWiz has Baker's culture sheets. Does anyone here use OrchidWiz? I'm on a Mac, so would have to invest in new software to run Windows if I want to try it. I'd like to know how much information is there on species before I invest.

If you are talking about Baker's book, the old edition only had 5 photos that are on the front and back.

Well at least I can get one of my "lost" books back. Just all 7 of Withners books and Holsts Catasetums, and I'll be set!

Marni, I don't have that book and I just read the review by a buyer.

Now I am thinking I should get a copy of it.

Edit: Why the new paperback edition is so much cheaper? Something missing?

Tom, I think it is all there. Pure text. I think the original paperback was $75, so not a huge difference in price. If these are the print on demand ones, they aren't doing a print run of thousands of copies on a press, their cost is pretty low.

I have two copies in use. One is by the computer and one is out in the potting studio. I use them all of the time. Same with the Oncidium Alliance book. Worth every penny.

The paperback version is available in Sweden for 490 kronor (about 65 USD) from online bookshops. Surely it must be readly available in the states then? ISBN 9780881923667.
Good luck, its great, loads of info. I need to get the Oncidium one too i think...
