I was just curious if anyone is growing Bulbophyllum scotinochiton?
I have a couple of plants that got a little "overwhelmed". I just found them and they don't look too good. I just thought I would ask if anyone else is keeping this one.

I don't grow that one, but I have a few clones of mirum. Since they're closely related, I'd guess culture might be similar. I grow mirum IW, mounts without substrate, daily water year-round, and bright shade (brighter than most other bulbos). Hope that helps.

    Thanks Jon,
Lol, I think I wrote my first post poorly.
That sounds very close to what I do, and you are right, they do well in those conditions.
My problem is that the two plants got "devoured" by some faster growing plants. I forgot that they were there. I just found them and freed them from their situation. Unfortunately, they do not look very good. I was trying to find other growers just in case I have to beg for plants in a month or two. :(
    Thanks for the response.

As a note, I find that I have to only water the substrate and roots of my mirum, otherwise they start to rot. I guess that's why your mounts don't have any substrate.

Hey, Chuck, it sounds downright Darwinian in your grow area.

Lol, you've seen it, and you know that's how it is! If I give it enough time, I'm going to end up with only one giant specimen of some "Cirrhopetalum"! Although, some of the careyanum types may survive as well!
