Australorchis/Dendrobium schneiderae

    This is the underwhelming var. schneiderae from the border area of NSW and QLD. Seldom seen in the wild as it inhabits the upper limbs of tall rainforest trees typically, but recently saw a colony on a rock in dry open forest.

    Yep, the bulbs in this var are about an inch tall.

    Ahhhhh! Standard Dendrocoryne culture? I would like to grow one w the speciosums.

    Yep, I grow it mounted but apart from that the same as speciosum. Although it helps that I live in a similar climate to where it comes from it seems very easy to grow.

    Such a cute thing. I like the reddish coloring around the edges.
