Ascocentrum pumilium

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site and I notet one shocking thing! There are no pictures of Ascocentrums here! At least I haven't managed to find any... So let me send you a picture of my latest Ascocentrum I had here at home with spike (spikes acctually since it was two of them...), they are starting to fade away now...

This is one of my Ascocentrum pumilium, isn't it adorable? (ok you have to look beyond the results from a bad photographer, the camera is not to blame in this case )



It is grown in one of my vivariums, with much light and regular showers every day. Two spikes on this one, each carries four sets of flowers. I simply love these ones.

Initially I had some problems getting hold of the true A. pumilium, people tended to sell me Ascocentropsis pusilla instead. I'm not complaining since the A. pusilla is quite nice too. Flowers are rather similar, but the plants do not look alike. In the image below you have the A. pumilium on the left hand side and A. pusilla on the right.
