I now have 3 names for this Ascocenda,
    #1. Yip Sum Wah
    #2. Suk Sumran Sunlight
    #3. Duang Porn.
Anyone like to have a guess, it was bought as a Yip Sum Wah.

No I didn't Marni, thats an actual registered name of an Ascda. Its also been used in breeding and produced some very good orchids.

it's not 1 nor 3 (both are reddish/red) look into su-fun beauty, and google ascocenda names with orange and compare, depending on the size of flower, I go with Su-Fun Beauty...

I have #2 and it is not as orange as yours. More like a yellow (sunlight).

I tell you I don't think I'll buy another Ascocen. Still sitting here with Sweet Cherry that's a bastard child.

What's wrong with Sweet Cherry? Mine's blooming about 3 times per year! I love this one.

And the parents are who? That's what wrong with the bastard. No parentage, no awards for a nice flower.

Right, I even asked Tom Ritter (who I purchased mine from) and he had no idea. He just knew he had bought them from a grower up north. I have asked the vendor every time I've seen it and I get the same answer-I don't know.
