I really like these imbricate leaved plants and this one has nice flowers, too. Looks like it should do well in my conditions.

If you grow this and have any culture information (is it quirky or difficult) and/or have a piece you are willing to part with I would appreciate hearing from you.

Kelly, I purchased one from Louisiana Orchid Connection a few months ago. It is mounted and I have it in Phalaenopsis conditions. Too early to tell.

I too purchased one of these from LOC. I had it for quite some time and they are pretty slow growers. In the probably 6 or 7 months that I had mine there was barely any growth at all. I finally got rid of it because I wanted to see more progress than what it was giving me.

Hey, Kelly, I just realized that I grow this. I've had it since 2007 and it just put out its first flower. I've had it in the warm house for about 14 months and it is doing much better. There was a period of a couple months when I should have put up more shade and it rather bleached the older growths, but it is coming back now. If you want a piece, I can send you one. I would grow it warm and rather shady.
