I am growing it in Sphag in a shallow Bonsai pan. Eastern exposure, (bright shade, morning sun). I decrease the water in the winter but I do not allow it to go dry. I fertilize when in active growth. There was no real fragrance this am but have not tried smelling it at other times of the day. Intermediate temps and good air circulation

I just got one from H&R and it has either spikes or new growths starting! woohoo!

    A. thompsonianus is also starting spikes. :D

It is a truly great Genus.
