i actually have two in bloom.
tried to pollinate both but in the second, smaller one, i cut a hole for easier access to the female flowers

    i forgot to mention
this one was super stinky, but just for a day
to me, it was kind of a generic stinky and not so much like rotting flesh or rotting garbage

My bulbifer always smells like a propane gas leak. I'm always checking the greenhouse lines when this one flowers. As it ages it then smells allot more like cat pee.

Since it develops bulbils on the leaf, it's easy to get a start of this one. Nice flower!

how long is your's fragrant? i'm just wondering if the fact that the days after it started blooming were very cloudy effected whether or not it's stinky for longer than a day.

It only last a few days but the very pungent odor of propane last only the first day. Mine are all planted in the ground so it may be somewhat different. I have also found the odor seems to come and go during the day.

The absolutely best/worst spelling Aroid I have is Dracunculus vulgaris. As soon as it opens the blow flies swarm it. Unfortunately I don't think I will have flowers this year though. Nothing better than the smell of dead animals in the morning. If you've ever lived in the rural south you know this means it's spring!

i put pollen from my Amorphophallus yunnanensis onto this.
it took forever to see any change, but the seeds seem to be forming!
