    Actually A. monticola can be an intermediate grower. It comes from higher elevation than its sister species A. phillipinense.

    I grow mine in 50-90 degree range. It is in flower now too.

    It sounds like this species can handle various conditions. I have been growing this species under cooler than normal int. temperature.

    My "amesielas" hang over radiator heating. Daily temps are now 18 - 22°C, nightly decline to 16°C.
    Yes, this species can be a little coolish than 2 others.
