    neat webcam on a nest of Allens Hummingbirds. These 2 youngins are going to fledge soon.

    In Orange County somewhere.

    sometimes an add pops on - but rarely

    nice and clear and close ..i even saw one whip out it's tongue and snag a tiny bug that flew in front of it. Growing Hummers need there protein

    I've had the cam up on my laptop since you posted the link. It's fun flipping to that screen to see what the wee ones are up to. It seems their tongues are already about the length of their body! Mama comes around regularly with a snack. Very cool

    We have them nest in the Bottlebrush trees on the west side of the house.
    Every year, same crotch in the same tree.
    I love them.
