I bloomed this in September, but it isn't in bloom right now or I would be searching for a metric ruler. This came as another unidentified species, but I think it matches Aerths. filipes.

I have been told that Angraecoids rarely are successful as selfings. I'm trying it anyway because I love this flower. Even better would be to find another clone for pollen.

I'm at work so I don't have access to any of my Ang books.
I've heard that Aerangis species are reluctant to self. I hadn't heard that about other genus, but I wouldn't be surprised. Did you hear that *all* Angraecoids are difficult in this way?

I went back and checked the email and you are right, he only mentions Aerangis. That gives me more basis for hope. I generally prefer to do an outcross if possible, but I have selfings on several Aeranthes species now. Thanks.
