aerangis kirkii--finally blooming like it should!

    I've had this plant for 3 or 4 years. It has only bloomed once that I can remember with 2 or 3 flowers on a spike. This year it rewarded me with over 6 spikes. I think I gave it a dry rest this summer, or it just needed to be bigger!

    Gorgeous Peter! Well done. Mine blooms best at the end of a long-hot summer, so I think there is something to the relatively dry rest.

    I love this species. It has beatiful foliage year round and then the flowers look like fireworks. Very nice!
