Add & RSVP For Orchid Shows & Events

    We have a new feature on our forum that will allow you to add upcoming shows & events to our calendar as well as RSVP to them. When a new event is added, a new discussion thread is created in our Orchid Shows & Events forum for everyone to participate in.

    To add an event simply click here: http://www.orchidsforum.com/events/create and provide as much information as you can.

    We hope that this will help the community stay updated on relevant shows and help each other meet new people along with way :)

    Please let me know if you need any help with anything related to this and I will be more than happy to assit.

    To me, it isn't necessary to have a separate forum for the shows. If you add more subforums, the whole thing will look very crowded.

    The idea is to have a thread for each event so discussions can take place regarding the event. Not sure where else to put them?

    There are very few big shows that people will talk about..., and that is not even annual topic.

    We will see how it goes. This will be good exposure for the smaller regional shows. Plus we always plan to grow larger and this will be in place when for as we do grow our membership :)

    Put it all the way down to the bottom of the page then! I know you want the membership grow and get the advertising going, but get the priority of orchid forum straight! It takes longer and longer to get down to the photo section now! What happened to the culture sheet section? It is no longer on the screen. Many of us have made the effort to do those orchid culture sheets!

    Tom-DE, no need for the exclamation points. I'm all ears to hear your feedback. :) Just have a bit of patience with me while I work through some of the recent changes. You bring up a good point about the photo section and I will bring that further up.

    I have always had the priority of this forum for the members here and will always have that as the case.
