    Acronia bivalvis. Costa Rica.
A tiny species. Flowers about 7 mm in size. Heart shaped leafs. It prefers lot´s of humidity. The natural habitat are very humid mountain rainforests in Central America were it grows on mossy branches.

Typical habitat for this species. This photo is taken at Tenorio volcano, Costa Rica. At about 1700 meters. Very very wet.

Oh my! That is beautiful! And I'm doubly impressed with your photographs given how small the flowers are. Well done.

For those of you who haven't been in cloud forest, it is really hard to capture the spirit of the place in a photograph. Magnus gives us a really good view.

Thank you! You are sooo right Marni! I find it very hard to capture the spirit of the humid cloud forest. At this place it was sooooo wet. Next time I will bring a dive housing to the camera. Or a 100% waterproof camera. Also this is takenn at lunchtime and it´s still very dark. But I love these places.
The best thing is that there are some cloud forests in CR that´s easy to walk in. For those that don´t want to get mud everywere.
I recommend the cloudforest to everyone. Magic place!
