The leaves in the background is Maxillaria tenuifolia, which have never produce any flowers yet.
This acriopsis is very common around my place. Easily find them on coffee trees

I never got flowers on Maxillaria tenuifolia. I finally gave up trying to grow it.

Have you tried the yellow variety? I can't bloom a regular one but the yellow clone produces flowers every year for me.

I think I over-watered. I killed several before I gave up about 20 years ago.

I know how to accept defeat. I've sworn them off. Too many other choices.

Here is my Maxillaria. Now, I have a bunch of them, from only a bit five or six years ago.
