A two-fer- Vasco. Pine Rivers and Phal. Yungho Gelb Canary

    Another two bloomers, on opposite sides of the greenhouse:

    Vasostylis Pine Rivers 'Blue' is one of those neat vandaceous hybrids that just keeps on blooming. As soon as one spike fades, another one begins. The flowers are a rich, vivid violet-blue and darken with age. It's an easy and vigorous plant.

    Phal. Yungho Gelb Canary is a hybrid of Phal. Gelblieber x Phal. Princess Kaiulani. This particular clone is 'Honey', which aptly describes its sweet fragrance. It's a bit odd for this to be in bloom now-- it's normally a late spring/summer bloomer.
