I didn't feel like posting these all separate posts so I took NTGerald's idea of a trip to the farm and put a little comedic spin on it (But yes, my plants reside in the bathroom...) Here's some of what I have blooming now. I haven't posted anything here in a long time since we're busy with the business, which is going very well!

Masdevallia chontalensis, neat little plant and very rewarding. It blooms twice a year, but this is the bigger flush. Usually 2, sometimes 1 or 3 flowers to a spike.

Sigmatostalix picta, these are this years spikes first flowers. Last years spike just died. This is a genus everyone should try, flowers keep coming out of the same bracts on the spike for at least 9-12 months

Paphiopedilum spicerianum, this is the first of 5 spikes to open. One of my favorite paph species, nice and compact too!

Dendrobium victoria-reginae, I never really liked dendrobiums until i figured out I could bloom them, now I have a few. This one is neat, it flowers from a cane, then as the flowers are dying, a new spike is coming out from the bract below it, it has been in flower probably 80% of the time since I got it.

But, I've given up on that.

Thanks, Candace. I don't think it will work, though.
