Stripes from wrapping paper in the first, second and third are a blooming cactus from a calendar page.

Aren't they fun? Now I want to try polka dots...and frogs....and........ My professional photographer friend, JoAnn, and I had a ball today playing. She's always doing weddings, etc., and doesn't take much time to play but she was loving this. Now we want to try the falling drops that Dale was talking about. I saw one on the net the other day which was clear water with the two drops that come back up after you drop water into water (you reading me here?) and both the rising drops had flowers in them. I'll bet that took 500 photos!

    Ah man, that sounds great.

Will the "Drops" series be part of the calendar you're putting together? Or are you just f'ing off? :D

Just f'ing off. More fun than mopping my broken tile.:D The calendar is strictly orchids. Plus, this is table-top photography which is in the air conditioning. PLUS, my DH has tons of Nikon stuff I didn't know anything about. Like the extension ring and the close-up lens for the front of the lens. And, for that matter, the 60mm macro lens. I think that would be grounds for divorce if I didn't love him. :)

Edit: To be fair, somebody in our now defunct camera club died and his wife "donated" all his Nikon equipment to Bill because she figured he would be the one to most appreciate it. I wasn't aware of this and that's where most of this came from. He didn't spend milk money to buy it. I probably would have known that. :)

Not yet on the floor. We had a $6000 air conditioner replacement and then Penny's $4000 surgery in May. And the floor upheaval in May. And my DH is still in severe pain, and has been for a couple of years, and wants to go to Cleveland Clinic south of us before we do anything on the floor problem. I go along completely. We have exhausted our local doctors and pain clinics. The floor involves removing all the tile in the living/dining/kitchen and hall area and replacing it.

Dang. Dang. I could help you do it. Might take a couple bottles of likker, though.

Come on down. You and me and my oldest son can remove tiles and swig his Silver Captain Morgan. Or whatever you want.
