Thanks. The birds were moved to a reinforced building and were safe during the path of Irma. The orchids weathered the storm without damage, even the ones that were not moved to a safe place. I used to put all the plants inside. It was just too much, now I put them on the ground and that has been enough to spare them any wind damage.
